Hi mommas. I have been using enfamil gentlease since along time. Suddenly my baby is spitting up whatever he us drinking despite burping and holding him straight. As soon as I put him straight, he spits up. Any reason why it could be the change?

My son, we called him the power puker. For us, we started feeding him slower and laying him in an inclined position and lightly burping him after his feeds. We used costco kirkland formula, the yellow one. It did slow down, but I would make a doctor's appointment. Maybe your little one is experiencing acid reflux.

Could be reflux. I would consult baby's Dr if it continues.
Should add, that was our situation over hereš«£ and none of the tips/tricks made a difference, including me eliminating All dairy from my dietšµāš« (EBF), so the pediatrician prescribed a medication. Starting solids was rough, even just baby cereal still on the med, so we had to tray again between 8-9mons after attempting at 6mons

My little guy had reflux constantly, didnāt matter how we feed him or what we feed him. It did get better when we started purĆ©es at 4 months and then I found out about using baby cereal for reflux which we have used as well and definitely helps when he has milk. Looking back I wish I had of know about that sooner cause I probably would have tried it. Maybe something to look into

@Roshell that is so smart, baby cereal who would have thought to do that ! I wish I knew that 3 years ago with my guy! Tips and tricks are always great to find out even later on !

our little girl started spitting up more recently but I noticed it also came with a huge increase in her intake. She is 15lbs and started downing over 1L per day. Her spit up isnāt bad though, nothing changed either formula, just more per bottle. We have tried slowing her down (she chugs!) by removing the bottle from her mouth and giving her a few seconds. She isnāt always happy with that, but it does seem to help a bit

My little girl was the same. Was gaining weight pretty nicely until the throwing up started. She had reflux. Doc put her on meds which helped a little. At 4.5 months stopped giving her the meds and now at 5.5 months she stopped throwing up. About twice a day and very little. She was in enfamil gentle ease also but tried breast feeding more. I honestly think that formula was causing her more of an upset stomach.
