That’s exciting! Congratulations. We are praying for a boy as well as we already have an almost 2 year old girl. How long did your NIPT test take to come back? We just did the bloodwork yesterday. We did it with our daughter 2 years ago and it took 8 days.

I gave birth to 2 boys (3 & 7 yrs old) that have had a whole lot of personally and energy since birth lol. For some reason I feel like boys tend to be more adventurous or experimental.

You will have to make a choice on if you would like for him to be circumcised.

I did for mine because I let their father decide. You will have to keep it clean in an ointment/vaseline covered gauze while caring for his belly button at the same time but regular check up will keep you confident that he’s not infected.

There are a million opinions on what you should do about that but honestly they will be fine with either choice you make.

We are having a boy too! Just found out a couple of days ago. This is our first pregnancy.

That's awesome, I found out my results yesterday morning. Everything came back normal/ low risk. My husband and I are relieved. As to what I'm having... it's a girl!!! We are so happy and I guess my instincts were right lol. We are so happy to be having a baby girl. And my 1st ultrasound is on the 11th

Thank you! Fingers crossed you get your boy. I had to wait 9 days to get the results back. My doctor went through Naetra for my NIPT testing.

we are going through the same company. We had blood work done yesterday. Today they received the test results in the lab.

Thank you for advice. I will definitely keep what you said in mind. That’s what I hear a lot of moms that already have boys say about boys being adventurous and like to play rough. Any tips on how to change their diapers and not get pee on?

Congrats! And girls are so much fun it’s like having a mini bestie that you can dress up and put little bows or headbands in their hair. They are a little sassy too and might end up being a daddy’s girl. That’s how my baby was she loves her daddy and is spoiled lol.

keep it point down at all times and covered as often as possible. When switching from clean to dirty, wipe then quickly cover cause the cold air is what’s triggering their pee.

If he poop just keep a wipe over that area while cleaning. Not much you can do to stop them at that point but at least it won’t go directly in their face when whipping their butt.

my doctor didn’t even tell me how long it would take but I was assuming 7-10 days lol I did my NIPT on Monday!

Boys are so fun and they love their mamas so much.
