My entire pregnancy I was extremely active (went off work on the Monday had my baby on the Friday). I don’t think I actually stopped still for 9months, quite possibly because I didn’t want to be viewed as weak or even maybe because I felt like I had no choice but to just get on with stuff and stay on the go. However if I look back at my pregnancy I grieve the pregnancy I could have had. I really wish that I could have been taken care of more without having to ask. I wish I could have been pampered and taken seriously for how big of a deal being pregnant actually was. I can remember when I was pregnant close friends of my partners would see me and not ask how I am or the baby, some of them got into new relationships while pregnant and while meeting their new partners not once was the baby mentioned or was I asked if I was okay so at the time I took a disliking to these people and my partners friends. Being pregnant I thought I’d get over it when I was no long pregnant. But postpartum it makes me so angry as I spent so much time with these people before I was pregnant and did so much for them. They don’t even bother with me or the baby at all postpartum 4 months down the line. It fills with so much grief and rage thinking about others who’ve had such beautiful peaceful pregnancy surrounded by people who doted on them and I don’t know how to get over this feeling, I know I can’t change what has happened or the fact I feel as tho I was neglected in my first pregnancy, but I really won’t to get over this feeling of grief I feel towards my pregnancy because of other people. I was surrounded by so many people and was still made to feel like the loneliness person I just had my baby. Ps I know so many people have it incredibly worse and I’m grateful I have a healthy baby and an amazing bond with him I just still can’t shake this feeling

Hey girl your feelings are valid I felt the exact same way and I worked until 2 days before I gave birth. It’s tough being pregnant without any help and support. Being a mum is on another level. We’re doing great xx
