No judgement please

Single mom here. I’ve been struggling with my baby girl’s diaper rash for like over 2 months now. It will start to fade and go away then out of no where spread rapidly.
I’ve used Destin, penaten, eucerin, zincofax, hydrocortisone cream. At one point I was making her sleep without a diaper. Nothing seems to be working fast enough.
I’ve brought her to her paediatrician, & after hour paediatric clinic. The last appointment was mid December and I was told to use diaper rash cream with corn starch make it like a paste. Been doing this since then and, the diaper rash hasn’t spread or gotten worse , but it also hasn’t gone away. I feel like I’m failing her like I can’t even manage a diaper rash?? I legit feel like I’m losing my mind. I haven’t been able to get a break or anything because I’m too embarrassed to ask anyone to watch her in fear of being judged.

Any suggestions on getting rid of this will be appreciated. Sorry for the long rant.

Don’t feel like your failing it’s completely normal in babies you took all the steps you needed to, maybe try making a doctors appointment and ask for prescription medication for the rash because nothing’s working

First thing is to not use wipes, use a soft washcloth and a bowl of warm water, or even better cotton pads for like makeup removal and a bowl of warm water. Pat very dry, make sure you get all the crevices . Then apply a extra strength Canastan (as in the vaginal yeast infection cream) and hydrocortisone mix, and coat the rash at every diaper change. And make sure your changing diapers very frequently , doing the wash with warm water, pay dry and new coat of the creams each time. No diaper rash cream. It's the only thing that has ever helped my guy.

Thankyou everyone I really appreciate all of the suggestions and will definitely be trying them out

Also if you haven't already try switching diaper brands! Anything but pamper gives my guy an instant rash, especially huggies

I was in a semi similar situation, my baby girl had it on and off
We used desitin, kept her without the diaper a few times a day and only used wipes for poop diapers. The biggest thing making it worse was her scratching it

Try mixing breastmilk with Vaseline and store in fridge. I've done this and found it very helpful.

Use an anti fungal like canesten. Have diaper free times each day. Try switching diaper brands and use water with cotton towels to clean baby instead of wipes. Always pat dry any excess moisture with a clean dry cloth.

I expect there's a fungal component, so try an antifungal, and possibly and antibiotic. My son had an almost constant rash, dont feel badly.

Another thing to consider is a food allergy. Diaper rash can be a symptom of it.

We had a stubborn one over here too, I gave her a bath with tons of breast milk in it almost every day for awhile then let her crawl around naked for awhile. Then diaper changes after I wiped her clean I put breast milk on the rash, rubbed it in a bit, then followed with diaper cream
