Sooo hungry

I swear breastfeeding makes me constantly starving. I’m 7 weeks postpartum and I feel like I’m way more hungry now than I ever was pregnant. I feel like I probably haven’t been eating the best foods with it just being the holidays and just snacking a lot, so I’m hoping if I focus on eating more protien and nutrient dense foods my body will get what it needs and stop signaling me to be hungry every second.
Anyone else in the same boat? Was there anything that helped or a specific diet that works well for you.

Same here! For snacking between breastfeeding, drinking plenty of full fat milk helped with my calcium and protein intake. I was also eating lots of nuts when I needed a boost of energy, mixing it with dried berries so I would still get that sweet taste 😛😛😛 otherwise trying to have easy to prep meals like avocado, tomatoes, tortillas and eggs so I could make some easy burritos or something like that, my husband also made a lot of bouillons frozen during the first weeks pospartum so I would have easy to eat meals. I recommend « the first forty days » as a book it really helped me to get ideas of what to cook ☺️☺️
