Allergy or nappy rash?

This appeared out of nowhere yesterday. We didn't changed naplies or her diet. What could be causing this? She's in pain and it breaks my heart. I'm not even sure what to do now.

My little girl gets this type of rash on her bum when she is teething, it’s really strange but it appears randomly and it seems to always happen when she is also in pain with her teeth… I use Metanium nappy cream for her x

Mine had this when she had a cold, her poops were absolutely awful and gave her an awful nappy rash, I left her nappy off for a little while and put metanium on every nappy change until it was gone completely

She does have fever at the moment. So we suspect she might be teething too. It's just we don't know for sure what it is. As giving her cows milk could be such a coincidence. Is it worth going the the pharmacy tomorrow to seek their advice? 😪

This looks just like my LG bum when teething or ill with a cold. It's something to do with the acidity when passing through from the saliva. We use a mixture of sudocream and metanium.

It could be worth speaking to pharmacist to see if they have something stronger over the counter especially if she's in pain.

Also try nappy free time or lots of bath time

Is it hot to touch? My little one had a rash which I put to nappy rash, I spoke to the HV and she said keep an eye as could be thrush and may need antibiotics. Couple days later he spiked a high temp so called the doctors, we ended up in hospital and were told he had cellulitis! Fortunately we avoided IV antibiotics but had them orally for a week along with steroid cream and an anti fungal medicine! X
