Has anyone’s sneak peak results been wrong? Mine says boy but I did have my partner in the room a couple of occasions while doing the test as I was asking him questions about it🙈

wait i’m confused 😂 does that affect the results? i’ve never done one before.

i thought they basically just took a blood sample and saw whether there were any Y chromosomes in your blood.

apparently so! It says on their website not to even have a male dog around you whilst you do the test 😂

it is! So now I’m still 50/50 on my result xx

well generally i’ve never heard of anyone say sneak peak got it wrong but hopefully your gender scan comes soon enough for you! it feels like the longest wait! xx

funnily enough one of my friends did one last year and her result was boy but she had a baby girl! Super annoying cause no matter the result I guess you can’t be sure until your scan! X

It’s the contamination issue. So any dna from a male could contaminate it. You just want to clean the surface your using to put your stuff on and clean your hands and under your nails very well. Mine said boy and it’s a boy!!! So they are accurate but they can get contaminated if there is male DNA in the sample via your fingers or the instruments your using if they have touched something a male has.

Boy or girl?

I’ve just discovered the nub theory and this is my 4th baby. Anyone take a guess?

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

Owlet sock worth it?

Anyone use the owlet sock for newborn? Is it worth the price and what are some pros / cons?

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

So ready for second trimester 🥲

I really really hate the first trimester. It’s exhausting, no appetite, not enough hours to get the amount of sleep I need, headaches, smell sensitivity, and overall just feeling like crap! And I don’t want to announce anything until 14 weeks since I’ve had losses before, and it’s getting really hard to hide it from my friends. Two more weeks to go….

Just needed to vent to others who understand!
