What’s the best thing you have brought to help your baby
So my husband has to get up most mornings at 3.30am for work my baby would wake up with the sound of his alarm my LO wouldn’t then go back to sleep untill around 5.30am one night I had a brainwave (for me) I remembered when I worked for a hotel what they used to alert people who was deaf if they was a fire , it was a black machine that went either on the side or under their pillow it had a setting where if they wasn’t 100% deaf they could have it on a loud pitch sound but if they was it vibrated and they would place it under their pillow so they could feel the vibration , I told my husband and said surely if they make a fire alarm for deaf people they will make a alarm clock,he laughed thought I was being silly so I looked for 1 on Amazon and their it was an alarm clock for deaf people so I ordered it, my husband has used it ever since and not once has our baby woke up because his alarm going off , now who’s silly 🤪

Ohhh where can I buy 1 of these from? Does it have the heart beat, my son loves the sound of hearts beating , and honestly you will not be disappointed with this alarm clock its definitely a game changer for those that have to get up early but don’t want the baby waking up , I didn’t even hear my husband get up for work this morning wasn’t untill I turned over to cuddle him I realised he had gone already x
Yep! Myself and husband are both profoundly deaf and i have a fire alarm, doorbell, baby alarm, clock & carbon monoxide all under one vibrating system. So upstairs in our bed we have a vibrating pad under the pillow. During the day we use a vibrating pager that we put in our pocket or waistband.
In addition downstairs we have flashing light for the door. & our alarm clock flashes too ☺️. The system we use is called Bellman & Symfon, but paid for by council sensory support, or fire alarms provided by county/local fire service.
