1st birthday

My little boy turns 1 on the 23rd and we want to take him out for the day, but it’s so cold and we’ve had rain for days where I live, (Flintshire) so our options are limited. I looked at CBeebies land and Gulliver’s world but both are shut. I didn’t really want to take him to an indoor soft play as we go a lot, any other ideas?
We are having a little tea party with family on the Saturday before to celebrate with them x

We've been to a couple of different sea life centres and she enjoys it so we're going to The Deep in Hull as its one of the biggest and only about an hours drive so utilising nap time 😂

We’re taking our little boy to an Aquarium, he always enjoys it because of the lights etc 🤍

My daughter was 1 on the 2nd we had a party for her on her birthday and then 2 days later took her to London aquarium (she loves looking at fishes!) and then to build a bear for the birthday bears (pay child’s age during the month of their birthday) xx

Avatar

so you paid £1 for a build a bear?

Avatar

yeah, £1 for the bear it’s self and the obviously if you want clothes / add ins you pay extra. We got an outfit for £10, a scent for £3 and a heat beat in the hand for another £3 because our daughter likes pressing teddy’s hands and seeing what they do. We also got a couple of other bits whilst we were there like the passport, birth certificate and they had an offer for a £10 gift card for £5 which is valid for 2 years so we got that ready for next birthday x

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
