27-30 month review.
I have my little girls 27-30 month review in 2 weeks and have no clue what to expect! I know they do the ASQ & supposedly have a check list of words to see if your little one knows any.
My little girls definitely a late talker (She is getting there) but I’m worried they think she is worse than what she is!
She also 60% of the time walks on her tip toes so concerned with that as they relate that to autism.
Does anyone have a copy of the words they check if your little one can say?

We had a questionnaire to fill in beforehand which asked about like can they jump with both feet in the air, can they copy you if you draw a straight line, can they walk up stairs unaided etc. We weren’t asked about specific words, just what her speech was like and how well she communicates.
I don’t think they will try and make any connections to autism at this age.
Ours was pretty informal, just a chat about how she was getting on, watched how she played with toys, took her height and weight and that was it!
I don’t know about a list of words but the ASQ has questions like can they understand 3 simple instructions, can they name a few objects, do they use personal pronouns correctly.
Axons definitely a late talker and I assume autistic because there’s a few signs but the family history is strongly looking that way (diagnosed sibling and uncle, one parent ADHD, both parents seem likely autistic but cba to try for assessment, wider family look ND too).
My brother toe walks and he’s diagnosed autistic but my daughter also is and she doesn’t do it, she also didn’t flap till she was like… 3/4 maybe. Axon does neither, yet, he might start I guess.
Ours was pretty much 2 weeks after his 2nd birthday and they didn’t have a list of word to ask us.

A nice screen for speech and language needs with some tips! I guess it could be worth discussing with the HV any defeats you have and you don’t have to be referred or have any assessments carried out if you don’t want to!
We had ours this week. She asked general questions about food, teeth, sleep, motor skills, and language.
She asked if I had any concerns, which I don’t. I explained he’s a late talker, says about 15 words (that only people who know him would understand) but his understanding is good and I’m not worried/don’t wish for any further intervention at this stage. She was happy that I was happy and just said to get back in contact if I had concerns.
She quickly flicked through the questionnaire but didn’t even take it with her, certainly didn’t ask for a list of words. I feel like if they wanted that, they would have put it on the questionnaire?
