Been waiting for a call from the doctor since yesterday

My LO has always suffered with eczema but over the past month it is coming up in patches all over his body, circular and very crusty 🤦‍♀️
Anyone else’s Lo get eczema like this?

My sons got eczema but in certain places and more patches than circles, he has his on the side of his face, back of legs and really bad on his ankles. My friend suffers with psoriasis and it looks like this xxx

I'd get this checked out it could psoriasis or ring worm even which Is super contagious x

That looks more like ring worm to me? X

Oh dear! Bless him😍

Does it have fluid in it? If yes, could be blisters

I'd send photos to a GP as it looks like a range of things. Ringworm usually has a clear ring around the outside. Could be impetigo especially if it's blistering and crusty, which is very contagious.

My little girl has these patches on her legs and arms, we've stopped using soap to wash her regularly, and once every week she has a bubblebath as yet to find soap that doesn't suck out the moisture from her skin, childsfarm do an oat lotion and it's not cleared it up but has made her less itchy and less angry looking!
Thats shameful on the doctor taking so long tho, is it GP's?

Yep. My sons eczema looks exactly like this & his been seen by 2 doctors and a dermatologist, they’ve all said it’s ezcema & to use aveeno 😢

Yep our little ones looks like this too 😭 its got so much worse the past 2 weeks and is now on his face and neck which it hasn't been before

We had similar and it was impetigo. It also could be another of the many viral infections that babies can get. So don’t worry, it’s not one of the scary rashes. Send a pic to your GP and if it’s bacteria they will give you antibiotics. Check for things like not eating and a fever etc

Hello everyone.
The doctor called me back yesterday, she says it is his eczema and to keep using his steroid cream on his really sore bits.
We’ve got an appt today though so she can check it’s not infected. I don’t think it is as it’s clearing up now.
No mention of impetigo or ringworm from her.

He had an allergic reaction to a yogurt the other day and is on a dairy free diet so I wonder if this is why it’s flared up so bad this time xx

I think it looks like psoriasis too as my nan suffers with it and looks very similar! But the doctor hasn’t mentioned anything other than his eczema x x
