Daiper change
Is anyone else experiencing this?
My 10 month old will scream and kick so ferociously during diaper changes. She also hates changing or putting on her clothes. Like scream and cries and shakes and is inconsolable. No toy will make it better no soother
At first we thought maybe just excitement but now it’s crazy. I know some babies don’t like diaper changes but my baby hyperventilates and screams ?

I have no advice - but just wanted to say you are not alone.
She screams, cries, flips, etc, it is SUCH a chore changing her diaper and dressing her. It’s exhausting
She’s such a happy baby, except during diaper changes.
I use to be able to distract her with a toy but now, not at all .. lol
Yaaassss our son went through this! He’s going to be 12 months on the 26th. This phased lasted about 3 weeks. Would scream blue murder and thrash and roll. Then one day he just stopped and was happy to lie on his back and get changed

it will pass! We just kept put him back on his back and getting him dressed without making a big deal of him moving about. It’s certainly frustrating but normal id say
Is she screaming about the diaper being put on or about being held in one spot maybe? My first son never wanted to sit still so we got the pampers 360 diapers so I could just put my hands in the leg holes, hold his feet and pull it onto him. Soooo much easier. I had to chase him a bit but it’s MUCH easier than regular ones in my opinion. We also do this with our second. He doesn’t walk yet so I just kinda lean him over my shoulder to lean on me or something
My baby is 10 months and does the same thing. He hates being changed. But I try to get it done as fast as possible.
My 9months old does the same thing! Nothing seems to help, here for suggestions
My daughter also really hates diaper changes, and also getting on clothes (pants are OK but shirts are a nightmare). The ONLY thing that works is TV and obviously that's not an option all the time.
I minimize diaper changes by having her out of her diaper at home often and timing diaper changes with times she'll already fuss, like getting dressed for the day or getting ready for a walk.
Seems like it may be something your LO needs to just grow out of. Have you tried playing a song? Sometimes if I put one of his fave songs on kinda loud he is a little less fussy
she loves music but now adays she doesn’t care while being on back

if it makes you feel any better my guy is a complete menace during diaper changes lol I think it must be a phase 🥲
i literally started taking her to bathroom where she loves seeing herself but hard to clean🥹
Mammas, something that has been working for us since 3-4 days is changing him in the bathroom. He looks himself in the mirror while i quickly change lol
