is it cold in ur area? my son had the same issue we thought it was H&F disease but turns out his hands were just very dry because of how cold it is outside. i’ve been putting lotion on his hands and gloves when he goes out and it’s been a bit better

just in case still go to the pediatrician or urgent care

Yes that looks like hand foot and mouth , does he have any sores in his mouth or under his feet ! There’s not really anything you could do for it try doing oatmeal baths and Tylenol if he breaks out into a fever !

Does he go to daycare? Or around any other kids ? Play groups? Looks like hand food mouth 😭 look on his feet and around his mouth for anything similar. Monitor it and if it gets any worse go to an urgent care to confirm.

If he has Medicaid download Teledoc and they will be able to see him without you having to leave the house and should be no charge to you. It’s been a life saver for me! Just a suggestion

we are in Houston. Temperature got dropped recently and I also wash his hands often. Combining those two factors, it may dry out his skin than usual. Will try to moisturize his hands often and I made an appointment next Monday. Thanks for the input..!

it appeared only one hand so far, so we will monitor if the symptoms get worsen 😭he is eating and playing well. Thanks for the oatmeal bath idea, i didn’t think of it.

i also have small bumps/blisters on my hands, suspecting HMF or allergy. Will try zyrtec on me first. Thank you. 😭😭

he goes to a couple of indoor playgrounds and library story times. Thanks for the advice, I want to bring him to see a doctor immediately but my husband says let’s monitor as he doesn’t have a fever or bothering symptoms. Hope it wouldn’t get worsen 😭

thanks for the suggestion, Televisit is so convenient right? I made an appointment with his doctor next Monday morning already & we are on a waitlist for the earlier availability. I always feel more relieved seeing a doctor in person regards to my son.

Looks like hand foot mouth take him into an urgent care. We had it when my baby was little and we were told disinfect everything with apple cider vinegar so it is not to harsh on baby every surface will be contaminated by it so isolating the actual break outs and disinfection is important.

Agree with others that it looks like hand foot and mouth. In our experience, it’s always been a mild illness, it just necessitates being away from other kids until all visible blisters have scabbed over (takes about 10 days). Is there an advice nurse at your health practice you can call? That’s sometimes a quicker way to get answers while you’re waiting to get into your Dr.

Though HFM does not require a dr visit, just waiting it out.

Looks like hand foot and mouth. It doesn’t need to be in the mouth.. my son had it on one leg and one hand but that was it. We didn’t know what it was and had to take him to hospital as they thought it might be serious the doctor told us it was hand foot and mouth and to keep an eye on him and if he didn’t eat or started vomiting we had to take him back

yes we moved from florida to san antonio and the weather change was horrible on his hands! the spotting and rash stayed only on his hands and the urgent care doctor said it wasn’t hand foot mouth. i would make sure it doesn’t spread anywhere else! best of luck hope ur baby feels better
