PCOS- Insulin Resistance- how to get rid of the tiredness 😩!??

Help! I just got diagnosed with PCOS...I've been tired before but have been feeling extremely lethargic and sluggish more every day. I like to multi task and move around and always had difficult time staying still and calmly focus. HOWEVER. It's been the opposite for me for few months now. I am always falling asleep throughout the day even when I have nights of good sleep. Anybody recommend anything or have any suggestions??

Lifestyle changes- eat a healthy balanced meal. High protein diet. First eat your proteins then carbs. Healthy fats. Light exercise/ Pilates help. Cut out all sugar. Only take natural sugar and limit refined foods. Sleep well and try taking ovasitol it will help manage your insulin levels. It’s natural and an alternative to taking metformin.

@Ash right now I've been taking Ovasitol for the past 2 months. I also have tried reducing carbs which tbh was challenging during the holidays. I've switched to sugar free for coffee flavors because it's the only sweet thing I'm use to having every day w sugar. I may consider pilates again. Just got back to cycling and some strength training. And protein is definitely a must. I try to get in all my protein every day. Just haven't been too consistent . I take metaformin as well. (Just increased) like I have been doing my best but my energy level and overall body feels like I got hit by a truck. It'd become challenging to just be up with energy all day like I use to. Perhaps I should probably do a whole sugar cleanse or something. I haven't given allll sugar up but I have limited to a safe amount per day. No added sugars. Like I mentioned. And may just need to work on better consistent sleep

That’s great you’re already doing all this. Did something change since you have started feeling worse? Have you done a complete cbc with your physician? Maybe there’s something else going on such as thyroid issues? Just throwing things out there. Being tired, stressed or over working your body doing exercise can exacerbate these symptoms. Sometimes despite doing everything it can still be challenging.

I did test my thyroid. Everything came back normal. So I'm not sure. I'm testing out rn if maybe it's my sleep schedule along w really cutting back sugar. I feel like I need a whole 4 days fasting to reset my system maybe. 😬

Yea, having a consistent sleep schedule can help. They say it can disrupt hormones if not
