Does anyone else have a long baby? My baby girl is 4 months and she's wearing 6-9 months due to her long legs, I'm 4ft10 and her father is 6ft4 and very built (muscles ), she weighed 6 & 7 oz pounds when born she's always was measuring oversize hence I had a planned c section due to how small I am.
Ever since she was a newborn same thing her long legs wouldn't fit into a newborn or tiny but 0-3 months.
Wish they had clothes in “petite baby, tall baby, etc” as we do in adults. 🥲

How long is she? I have a tall baby too, 6 mos 19.35 inches

Yep I've got two long boys! I'm 5ft 3 and my husband is 6ft so not quite as extreme as you but I've had an 8lb 6oz baby then a 9lb 9oz one. They've both always been at least one or two sizes ahead because of their length.
Experiment with buying from different shops as the sizing varies wildly. I find Next to be very wide so wouldn't recommend but Sainsbury's stuff in the size up seems to mostly work for my two.

I’ve got a tall baby too!!

I'm not sure haven't measured! But at 4 months she's already wearing 6- 9 months due to her legs! But a top like a vest or tops she's fine as she would wear for 3-6 months its just trousers, tights & and sleep grows she has to wear for 6-9 months because of her long legs 🥲😬

Yes! My little girl is long, her dad is 6’3 I’ve always bought footless baby grows for her they were useful!,

@Leah yes def footless jams, the bamboo stretchy ones.

My daughter is super tall! At birth she was 24 3/4 inches, now that she’s 2 they say she’s in the 90th percentile for a 3 year old 🙃

In the same boat with my son I’m 5’6 and his father is 6’5, my son will be 11 months next week and wears 18ms clothes because of his legs and for onsies too especially since his feet a long, for his shirts if it’s short sleeve I can get 12ms but if it’s long sleeve it has to be 18ms too

I buy kids pjs from Asda, they have mittens in the hands but are separate too and bottoms, just put fluffy socks on him if it’s cold🤣

I got giant girl she was 9 lb on her birthday and 22 inches long

My little girl is long too but very petite! She was 5lbs 15oz at birth. She is 3.5 months and 24.5 inches 🫠
I am 5ft 6 and my partner is 6ft 4! I've had to do footless sleepsuits as the footsies are too short and the bigger sizes are far too big. The same goes for leggings/trousers, 0-3 months are just too short, but 3-6 months don't fit at the waist 🙃

I have a tall boy. I always thought he would be as his dad is 6'4 and I'm 5'7 and all the men in my fam are over 6 foot. Yes, agree with the bamboo stretchy footless baby grows are great, last much longer.

Yes, LO is 4 months in 6-9 months clothes. 24 1/2 inches and she is a trim girl.

We bought footless onesies for a while but that doesn’t cut it. For now, we buy leggings that are two sizes too big and the tops that are the right size for her age. Honestly that’s the only way we can cover her legs fully! I just find cute cardigans now, but no cute onsies unfortunately 🤷🏼♀️

my sons 18 pounds, and 4 months and in 9-12🥲he’s a very tall chunky boy ahaha xx

Yes it is so annoying she's 3 months wearing 6 month onesie and her feet go all the way to the end but the neckline is about to fall off one shoulder because it's so big on the rest of her body

My kiddo was born 52cm! He was too long for all of the newborn onsies we bought also, 6 pounds 7

Ooh actually, the best onesies I've found for long babies are Wondersuits. They're amazing! Double zips, integrated scratch mitts and the option to have feet in or out. They're a bit pricey but lots available second hand. They're so, so good!

My baby is 9 weeks in 3-6 month clothes cause she’s so long :’(( xx

I have two long babies. I avoided all onesies and leggings that had built in feet as he was always too long for them. Instead I looked for ones that you can fold the feet back or footless ones and we wore socks.
H&M seems to have longer legs in their baby clothes so I get most of my leggings from there. Most of my onesies were Bonds Wondersuits as you can fold the feet over and then switch to socks when bub gets too long (Australian brand so not sure of availability in UK though).
Take a onesie with you to a few different shops and compare length - that way you’ll find the brands that make longer legs.

I have the same my baby is 10 weeks old and was in 3-6 months clothes from 10 days ago due to length xx

I have a tall bubba and I just buy clothing with open feet!! The closed ones always are too small😅😅

All of my kids

Yup my son is 2 almost 3 in April he’s 3ft tall and wears a 4t 🥴

I am the same I’m not sure how long she is right now but she has long legs and big feet so we size up in footed pjs and leggings but will stay in the correct size for almost everything else

Yes! I’m 5’10, my partner is 6’2. Our girl is quite long, people always think she’s older than her age. She’s always been long, at every scan they kept saying to us “she has long legs”.😊

yes my daughter is 3 months wearing 3-6 and 6 month clothing

Both my babies were long and their feet always pushing into the toes and arms always too short. Always wearing the next size up. It’s easier in summer when things can be footless but a nightmare in winter when they won’t keep socks on.

Yes! My 4 month old little boys has to wear 6-9 month clothes and some 9-12 months bottoms if they have the feet attached. Socks is 6-12 months too.
I'm only 5ft 2 his dad 5ft 4 🙈

My daughter is the same! She’s 8 months old and already in her 9-12 onesies and vests cause she’s long and they’re even baggy on the feet 😂

Yes my 4 month old is long and bigger than some babies that are 5/6 months old 😂 her dad is 6ft4 and I’m 5ft8 so I’ve put it down to a combination of our heights 🙈

Yeah my girl is 5 months on Saturday and she’s in 6-9 arms too long legs too short😂 I’m only 5”2

Same my husband is 6ft 5 and I’m 5ft 4 my baby has super long legs and is up a size in everything. lol she was 3 weeks early and weighed 6lbs 5oz

My youngest is the opposite, he’s a little chunk but all his pants are too long lol. My oldest is skinny and tall, when he got older we just got pants with draw strings so we could tighten them around his waist and it would still fit his legs. But I remember how frustrating it was when he was smaller. I opted for footless onesies with long socks

Two piece outfits! We get so much more use out of everything..

she is so adorable ☺️
