Rash
Baby has been diagnosed with CMPA since 6 weeks old. Was on aptamil pepti but got moved onto nutramigen due to rash flare ups, constant sickness and diahorrea. Since being on nutramigen the rash has got worse, he isnt being sick much anymore though but it still pooping 5ish times per day. Do you think this rash is to do with cmpa or something else? Dr said there’s only one more milk they are willing to try him on which is neocate but i thought that is near enough the same as nutramigen?
Edit: the rash is also on his face but for privacy reasons i haven’t posted those photos😊

I'd say it's a indicator that you need to swap to an amino based formula both pepti and nutramigen still have the protein in just heavily broken down and for some babies it'll still too much for their guts and they need a complete removal and an amino based formula to settle symptoms
thank you so much! Was going to ring the drs tomorrow anyway but will mention this to them! I just feel like im constantly being fobbed off xx
Neocate is an amino acid formula so it doesn't have cows milk proteins in it, my little girl has been on it for about 3 weeks now and her symptoms are nearly all gone apart from the reflux but that's jusy a baby thing x

She was first on nutramigen and her symptoms flared up again after 8 days and spoke to Dr who changed it straight away and haven't had any symptoms since
