My husband is usually amazing he helps with the baby, cleaning cooking, basically whatever I ask him to do. EXCEPT when he's sick. He's been home from work for 2 days with a really high fever so I get he didn't want to help with the baby as he wanted to keep his distance so I had to do everything 100% by myself which I'm not used to having to do. Now I'm sick too and my period just started and I get bad cramping on a regular period now being sick on top of it he's still not "feeling up" to helping says he's too dizzy and doesn't want to drop the baby. Why is it men get a free card to do nothing when they are sick, but I'm sick too and on period, and I still have to take care of him and the baby.

My husband doesn't get a free card. If I were in the same position my husband would be having 0 excuses. If I have to be a mom on top of a period and having whatever he has he can do it too

Yep. My son got norovirus and then afew days later my husband started violently throwing up, dizzy, etc for 24 hours. I let him rest best I could but I did need him afew times and he did help. I felt dizzy and nauseous at one point but I just slept all afternoon and I felt better. I genuinely think because women have more pain like periods, aches and pains, stress or hormone related headaches/migraines they're better at dealing with things. Men are just big babies.
