Tubal flush

Hiya I’m wondering if anyone has gotten their tubes cleaned. How much was it and did you get pregnant naturally after that. I’m torn between doing that or just jumping straight into IVF

Are you talking about HSG to check Fallopian tubes

I had mine done but it was covered by my insurance. They say the following 3 months after you are more fertile. I believe it. I had my tubes flushed in September and got pregnant in December 2022, my baby was born on September 1, 2023.

I guess. Sorry I’m new to this subject. My husband and I went to his country (Bulgaria) and talked to a fertility doctor there got a good amount of test done but he gave us 3 options (check tubes, ivf, or keep trying) he recommended that we to do the more invasive surgery to check my fallopian tubes instead of doing the dye test which I think would be better because he said the dye could go through tiny openings in my fallopian tubes if it is clogged so I would want to do the more invasive surgery to save time but I really want to know the cost of the actual surgery to clear the tubes so I could compare the prices because when we first went with our plane tickets, traveling to other countries for a vacation, food, etc and the testing we did in Bulgaria it came out to be cheaper than paying out of pocket here in the USA. We don’t have insurance and im not 100% about getting insurance for this because of my age (I’m 27) So I want to know if that would be same even with this.

sorry for the long message 😅 but also with my age my obgyn kinda laughed everything I told her the other doctor recommended because of my age and I changed doctors and I get the same response. I heard some insurances won’t cover ivf until you hit a certain age either :/ please nobody take offense to this but I don’t want to be older being a first time mom. My husband and I have a plan and if I’m paying for it I should get what I want. We only want 1 child anyway. My age limit for having my child is 35 if we can’t at that point we decided we would travel the world and do whatever we want from that point on and not worry about it.

I did the HSG, I didn’t get pregnant. I also did 5 rounds of oral ovulation induction medication which didn’t work. I am currently doing IVF. My particular clinic does require you to have an HSG on record within a year before you can start IVF. Once it goes over a year I would have had to redo the HSG.
