How long do you guys keep baby upright before putting back down after feeding please. I feel so cruel during the night I’m so tired and want to put her down so quickly

Feed baby upright burp them for around 10 minutes to make sure it’s completely up and keep them up right for around 30 minutes it prevents colic and also helps with spitting up and reflux and it settles the stomach then they can lay down x I’d also change them once you have had them up right for 30 minutes after feeding and burping ect.. then lay them down to sleep it’s hard cause you’re tired but better for the baby just remember you will miss them needing you this much when they want to do everything themselves I miss being exhausted with my eyes rolling now my baby barely needs me anymore 😭

I don’t if I am breastfeeding - I feed him and then put him down straight away - he doesn’t spit up or anything and settles quickly. If from bottle often a quick burp and then down again.

We have to keep our baby upright for so long as she will almost always spit up milk. I’m in the same boat and just want to put her down sometimes as it’s so much easier! Sometimes we keep her upright for 30 min and it’s still not long enough.

I feed, burp and cuddle sitting on my lap. Nearly every time she burps again and falls asleep while sitting down, so after a 15-30 min cuddle when she's fast asleep, she goes back down x

Like 2 minutes! As long as he’s burped then he’s straight back down

When he was newborn he had bad reflux so fed, burped upright for 30 minutes he always fell asleep while upright but I wasn’t risking it. Now he’s fed, burped during the bottle and I cuddle for 10 minutes max after he’s fallen asleep just to have a cuddle and make sure he’s fully asleep.
