I honestly was planning on working up until I went into labor. However, I ended up quitting my job the day after Christmas.
I managed an adult foster care home for adults with severe mental illnesses, plus 10 employees. With my pregnancy being high risk and the stress of my job I wasn't able to get my blood pressure under control.

I cant take mine until 2 weeks before my due date. I work from home so im fine with it.

I’m planning on working up until I go into labor. It’s going to be miserable, but I want to take my full 12 weeks once she’s here

That’s actually illegal for them to do that. I would talk to your HR department about this. They cannot cut your hours for being pregnant. The pregnancy discrimination act covers this. I would advise talking to them about that first because you only get 12 weeks protected per year by FMLA. Personally, I’m waiting until I go into labor because I work from home.

I went on "pregnancy leave" a few weeks ago only working from home 15 hours a week. I couldn't take it anymore and I was not protected by my boss from comments about me getting special treatment or not doing x y or z. I had to put my mental health first.

go talk to HR that’s illegal what he is saying to you. You can threaten a lawsuit and recoup wages lost because of being forced to work part time because of him. The law states that employers must accommodate disabilities, medical conditions, and pregnancy and not harass or discriminate based on any of these categories. It actually falls under sexual harassment and sex discrimination what your boss did. Go talk to HR because he will definitely continue doing this to other people too.

My little one is due 1st march and I'll be on leave from the 20th Feb I worked right up until 3 days before bub was born with my first child and never again will I do that I was even working from home for the last month and a half of it.
I need time to rest, relax, and enjoy abit of me time before I am at home full time with a new born and 22 month old everyday

My doctor wrote me off at 32 weeks. Since SDI is not taxed I actually make the same amount of money. Also it's illegal for them to cut your hours after telling them your pregnant. Look into "PWFA" a federal law that was passed last year, "PDA" and your local state laws.

Working until the bitter end. I’m a teacher so I’m banking on the summer off as another form of help

I drive school kids to school in a van 🚐 I do 80 hours a week but they want to put me off the Van sometime in February but I wanted to keep going until March the 10 are the 15th I said hopefully they work with me
