My girlfriend🏳️🌈and I recently decided to try for a baby but we’re doing our research and seeing that it’s pretty expensive for donor sperm , we also decided to do an IUI from home but still is seeking a donor not sure if any of you ladies have any information about this plus we’re in Toronto .
1. Seeking more donor options
2 . Any advice for trying to conceive with PCOS

I can't speak on donor options, and I'm in Australia so it's probably very different everywhere. But as far as TTC with PCOS - I found supplements really helped me, as well as Metformin medication - but it's not for everyone and we all react differently. I would suggest tracking your cycles really thoroughly if possible. I relied on body temperature tracking and ovulation tests to be able to find the right times. Wishing you and your girlfriend all the best!

Thanks much hun❤️

I have PCOS and diabetes type 1. Before I got diagnosed I had a daughter naturally. Then about a year after she was born I was diagnosed with PCOS and had every single symptom you can think of. I got pregnant again in October last year naturally but unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage. Tbh the best advice I can give is definitely take the right supplements. I took Myo & D-Chiro Insitol, Vitamin D, magnesium, berberine, and l-glutamine. I know it’s a lot but tbh it rlly has helped. Secondly, I lost 10 pounds. I had gained about 26-27 pounds due to the PCOS and managed to lose 10 before I got pregnant. I did see a fertility specialist and was prescribed metformin but after 3 days of taking it I found out I had conceived naturally. It definitely differed for everyone but this is just what worked for me. Hope this helps and praying you get a positive soon 🙏🏾🩷

I really appreciate the words of encouragement I remember the doctor telling me I had PCOS and I thought Hell came on earth and that I would never have kids , even trying for kids now is scary .
I pray I can come back and share my story like you and my condolences for your miscarriage hun ❤️

Hey ! Wishing you the best on your journey ! I have PCOS and I’ve never been huge on supplements unless I really do my research but that route actually ended up helping me best. I use ovasitol by theralogix. The main ingredients are Myo & D-Chiro Insitol but it has tons of other good clean ingredients. It helped me start having a regular cycle and I started ovulating monthly. Within 3 months on it, I conceived after a year of trying with no luck. I miscarried but had testing done of that and it was not related.
