How do I stop him from peeing in the bath as soon as he gets in? I know it’s probably the cold from being changed and transferred into bath that makes him pee but don’t know how to stop him if possible.

You can’t it’s bound to happen especially if their newborns they can control their bodily functions yet at all

Maybe before you take off his nappy for bath time, wipe his lower tummy with a damp cloth, usually makes them wee ☺️x

It's kind of inevitable. As they get older it will stop, but for now, just place a washcloth over him so that pee doesn't go all over

Take them to the toilet before getting in the bath

Sorry forgot to mention he’s 3 months, I change his nappy beforehand but he’s been peeing when we put him in the bath

Everybody does this lol the warm water in the shower still makes me need to pee. It's normal. It will not hurt him

Can't really stop it I figured while in the womb he drank amniotic fluid that had his pee in it, so it can't be that bad to bath him in water with a tiny bit of pee.

You’ve not had him do a poo bath yet and it shows 😂 babies pee, they can’t control it. A little pee in a bathful of water doesn’t really matter, it’s not going to do him any harm! ☺️

Put his foot in the water first so that he pees and direct it out of the bath water, but if it happens after the initial touching water there isn’t much you can do about it.

Thanks all, appreciate the advice. I’m a bit of a germaphobe and don’t like baths myself so the idea of him sitting in his own pee makes me feel gross lol

My 3 year old still does this! 🫣

it’s good for the skin 😂😂😂🤣

Just make the bath low, allow him to pee then change the water.
