NIPT Test Gender Result - How to make it a surprise?

My midwives just called today with the results. They asked how I wanted to find out the gender. They could tell me over the phone, send it in a message on my portal or write it in an envelope to pick up. If I did a gender reveal then I would have picked it up and given it to the person making the cupcakes etc.

Yes! I gave the results to my sister and she ordered an egg from Amazon that I ended up cracking at the beach!. 🥹💕

my OB office called to let me know the results were ready and they asked if we wanted to know the gender. i told them we wanted to do a little reveal party so they put the results in an envelope for me to come pick up at their office. i then gave the envelope to my SIL who made a cake for us.

I got the results by email I just didn’t check the email and had one of my friends check it and then they planned a gender reveal party for me

I have one of my close friends that checked the gender. Before she looked I looked at my other results and I’ll just say I wish I waited for my appt. I didn’t get such good news pertaining being a carrier for things. But after looking at the results I let my friend log in and open the gender results after being opened it will be on there everything you open to look at results

They called over the phone with the results and I opted out of knowing the gender. A few days after I went to the office to pick up the envelope that the nurse concealed so well, absolutely no peeking. The same day I took the envelope to the nearest bakery and got a cake done.
There was also an email, but I checked after I did my reveal and the email had a prompt asking whether or not I wanted to know gender.

Yes, I had my mama log in to my MyChart to get the results and then I’ll just make sure not to click on them in my account. Gender reveal isn’t until February.

if you don’t mind me asking, when you found out, you were a carrier of some things, did your baby end up having what you were a carrier of? Or do you not know yet?🤍
