Still no teeth

My little one is nearly 8 months old and still no teeth, no white gums just occasional red cheeks. It deep down upsets me seeing younger children with teeth already, I know it’s out of my control but I can’t help but think I’m doing something wrong

You’ve definitely not done anything wrong!
My first didn’t get any teeth until 15months but they did all come through ok. Nothing to worry about out just yet x

Hi don’t worry! My little boy is 8 months 2 days ago and still no teeth! He’s been teething since 4 month, no sign of any, yet his gums where hard and now his gums starting to take more shape but still no teeth and some times his gums still feel soft don’t worry xxxx

Of course you arent doing anything wrong. Thats like thinking the speed in which your baby’s hair grows is your fault. They will come ❤️

Some of my mum friends whose babies are 16m still don't have teeth yet. My first had 9 by his 1st bday. My June babe has one coming through ATM

Hi, dentist here! You absolutely have no control over when your babies teeth will come through, everyone’s will come at their own pace. Boys tend to be slower generally and my older one didn’t have his til about 10 months, my younger has them coming now at 8 months so even with siblings it can be different! Don’t worry they’ll come, and then you’ll miss their little gummy smiles!
