maybe an allergy? have you changed any detergents or started solids?

no not changed anything at all 😩

My first had something that looked just like this and I was told eczema. I didn't think it looked like eczema at all but after months and months of other symptoms and rash getting worse, he was eventually diagnosed with a milk allergy. He's fine with milk now though. Are nappies mucousy?

not mucousy that I’ve noticed. She was EBF and is now fully on formula but haven’t noticed any other allergy symptoms, it’s there all the time otherwise I thought maybe heat rash xx

definitely sounds like it could be an allergy. my daughter’s pediatrician told us when trying out new solids typically a rash on the back/stomach is the most common allergy symptom to look out for. so i would assume a change in going from EBF to formula would be the same. i would contact your baby’s ped, i know i’ve heard them say it takes the body like 30 days to adjust to formula, but i don’t think that’s in place if they are getting a rash because of it. wishing you the best!

that sounds positive but probably best to still speak to GP about it as my first didn't have mucousy nappies but my second did and he's just been diagnosed with CMPA too. I had blood tests done privately in the end as couldn't go through months of not knowing again.

Is it in her nappy area? If it's not it could be laundry detergent as her clothes won't be in contact there.

Rashes around the 3 month mark are really common which is when my sons skin got bad.
We are in the UK and a pharmacy gave us a cream that made it worse.
Dr told us it was excema... prescribed baby piriton, hydromol and a steriod cream. Also recommended we stopped using any bubble bath, lotions, creams... bathe him the absolute minimum and switch to non bio laundry detergent and stop using laundry conditioner.
After doing the above his rash cleared quite quickly and we haven't had a flare up since . Xx
