Hi Everyone
Has anyone been prescribed Domperidone to increase milk supply?
My LO is almost 9 weeks old. He started off on the 50th centile but has now dropped to the 9th - although he's stayed on the 9th for the past couple of weigh-ins. He's being weighed again next week. On the 11th he weighed 9lb11oz & on the 17th he weighed 9lb15oz - so not much of an increase.
When I pump, I often get minimal. I only manage to pump a couple of times a day as he's on the boob every couple of hours. We are now also giving 2 x 5oz bottles of formula per day as advised by the HV.
There are no issues with his latch. Previous tongue tie which was snipped. I feel like our BF journey has been so tough 😔

No advice but I'm in the same situation as you, I had to introduce a bottle when my baby was a week old due to so much weight loss I give both boobs and she'll still drink 4oz of formula after each feed, I try to pump as much as possible but im lucky if I get 10ml . Currently taking fenugreek but with no luck and considering asking for Domperidone. I really want to breast feed but my body won't let me it gets me really down sometimes

I'm currently trying domperidone as i am exclusively pumping and posted about this a couple of weeks ago. My supply average from getting the lacation team involved went from 500ml to 600ml a day. I have had 10 days of domperidone and am now up to 700ml a day and still have to use formula for 2 or 3 feeds a day and sometimes to top up the breast milk meals. I am tighter with the amount of expressed he gets in a bottle. Domperidone doesn't work for everyone, and not all GPs will give it, I had to go to the practice manager for them to prescribe it for me. I've gotbit for a maximum of 3 weeks, then have to wean it off
