The Greens in North Sydney or The Oaks in Neutral Bay
Some of the inner west breweries are great. Akasha in Concord has nice turf for baby to crawl on, as does La Casa rooftop bar in Five Dock.

I second the Salisbury Hotel in Stanmore! Theyve got a cute firetruck in the middle of the courtyard.
Crossways Hotel in Strathfield has a gated playground.
The Royal Sheaf in Burwood has a million kids running around, but no designated play area. Not really a fan, but heaps of families go there for dinner. The food is pretty good, tho!
