What’s everyone symptoms that had preeclampsia? I’m 34 weeks. And for the passed 3 days I’ve had headaches , they go away but come back, no energy, nauseous 24/7. At my appointments my blood pressure is normal. I’m just panicking really bad. I know ‘just go get checked’ my issues is I have no one to go to L&D with me to be with my daughter. They won’t let me just go with her. My next doctors appointment is on the 30th.

I’m going to definitely try to get in the hospital to get checked. Going to call them tomorrow and see if I could get any appointment sooner possibly. Cause I seriously feel like crap 🥺

With preeclampsia it’s usually headaches that don’t necessarily go away , blurry and or spotty vision , belly pain , swelling . My last pregnancy I’ve had all except the belly pain and swelling and ended up delivering 6 weeks early . My blood pressure is well managed this time around and I’m starting to have headaches that do go away and come back, I’ve had my bloodwork done and all looks good . I think it’s just part of pregnancy as I also had really bad headaches with my first pregnancy and I didn’t have any bp issues

thank ya for this lol my anxiety has been through the damn roof trying to convince myself I’m ok. Still going to get checked but makes me feel more at ease

If headache goes away with tylonal, then ita considered normal. Headaches are a regular pregnancy symptom. It's only if they persist through tylonal to be worried. No energy and nausea is also just a normal part or late pregnancy. Preeclampsia you honestly feel NOTHING. I was just talking to my friend about this. When I had it with my daughter I actually felt the best I had in my whole pregnancy, only knew because of the BP and being tested for the protein in urine. If it is not caught and the BP gets out of hand, then you will develop other symptoms like abdominal pain (kidneys), severe persistent headaches, potentially seizures, etc. If you get really concerned, go into the ER of the hospital you will deliver. They will accept you with your child because they have to and transfer to L&D if needed and then they cant really say anything about your child and will have a social worker sit with her if needed.

thank you so much. The fact you said a social worker would sit with my daughter instead of them takin her calmed me so much 🥲 I’ve been so stressed out if something were to happen last second and my friend that’s supposed to watch my daughter when I deliver isn’t available for any reason.

yeah I think if you have to stay overnight or get checked in for delivery and there is no one to come get her, then they would place her with a temporary foster family until you or someone you approve can retrieve her. But for an ER visit they typically have hospital social workers that will sit with a child while parent receives outpatient care.
Is her father in the picture or would they be able to track him down if you got admitted? That I guess would be the concern based on your situation there if he ends up with her and that's not a good situation. But also call your friend too and see if she could watch your daughte while you get checked out as that would probably be easier! Or if you have any family that can travel in.

But you can also get a BP cuff on amazon for like $25 to monitor at home for extra peace of mind. They say if it goes to 160/110 more than once in an hour after resting then you need to go to the ER. If it's in the 140s-150s range over 90s-100s then get in touch with your doctor to get on BP meds and be tested for protein in urine.

so update. Realized I haven’t been drinking much water at all for a while. I went to the store. Got some bottles of water. And my headaches have stopped 🤣 think I was just slowly dying of dehydration.

oh yep, that will do it for sure
