Nappies

Could anyone please suggest a brand of nappies that survive the night? Our daughter is a front sleeper and the last few nights she's waking up soaked through 😢 I thought at first I needed to size up overnight, and that was better for a night but yesterday morning she was slightly damp at 4am and she's just woken up at 2am and is absolutely soaked 😔

Not going to lie, both my fiance and I said he must have put the nappy on loose for yesterday, but I was extra cautious putting it on tonight and made sure it was all secure and no gaps so I think I need to find a new brand. Currently using Aldi, size 3 going in to size 4.

Apologies for the ramble, my daughter had finally started sleeping through again until this and I have my first cold since before pregnancy, I'm drained 🤦‍♀️😓

Picture of my little Sproggle so we don't get lost 💕

I used and liked Tesco Fred and flo for my little one. I also found a pull up at night tended not to leak so easily even when we were needing to move to next size vs tabs.

Pampers 360 cruisers.

When he was in nappies they were always soaked (heavy, wet) in the morning but never leaked onto clothes. We used cloth

Try Huggies nighttime diapers !! Also Walmart brand works just doesn’t hold asssss much. Huggies nighttime have held the most pee I’ve ever seen and fit my daughter perfect. My daughter loved a drink every time she woke up and always peed through no matter what.

We use the hello bello overnight diapers. Our son is a front sleeper too and he seems to stay dry until the morning. ( he is a high input/output baby, the diapers are huge by the morning!)

Avatar

I second these as well! They worked also!

Millie Moon at target. We have by leaked yet and his diaper is full in the am - also front sleeper

Avatar

I use Huggies for nights and Cubs for day because Huggies last better

We size up for night time. Huggies naturemade

Pampers were the only ones that worked for us - still in pampers now and we haven’t had any leaks at all

They are more expensive but was worth the swap

Tesco Fred and flo for us x

We only use pampers baby dry + at night we also have a lg front sleeper!
Oh and a pull it up a bit more at the front for the nighttime 😊

Avatar

We use pampers at night, supermarket brands through the day but only pampers have kept him dry all night x

Avatar

Rascal and friends from Tesco seem to be the best we’ve tried so far x

I’ve always used aldi nappies and found if they started to leak at night I’d go up a size.. even if she wasn’t quite the weight suggested on the pack.

Avatar

I use rascal and friends! They are the only nappies my little ones seem to be comfy in and keep dry all night they are amazing, but they only sell them at tescos

Avatar

Pampers size 4 we’re using and it’s holding up at night

Avatar

I used asda nappies when my first was going through this. I also used to change him when I went to bed whilst asleep.

We use rascal and friends :)

Little Angel are really good xx

Thank you all! We felt so bad for her! The nappies are fine in the day as she's changed regularly so just need to find a new night alternative. It took a while to get out of the dream feed/change so ideally don't want to get back into the habit of it, as it sometimes took over 45 minutes to get her back down and we ended up going to bed gone midnight then up at half 5 🤦‍♀️
She's almost 9 months and some of her 6-9 are still too big as she's small but chunky, i tried a bigger vest today and it drowned her 🙈 but I hadn't thought of that, thank you! Xx

Pampers are those that never betrayed us (not even over a 12 hours night sleep) so we stick to them. Mamia nappies are a much cheaper alternative that performs very very well, but you can buy them only at Aldi if I remember well

Avatar

We have swapped the Little ones.

Also nappy pants are meant to be good at night time to

Avatar

I’ve been using little angels from Asda size 3 I’ve found they are really good and can last up to 12 hours which is perfect for a night time x

Avatar

Aldi are the ones we have been using since birth as my sister's a child practitioner working in a nursery and said they're the best she's seen over the years! Those and little angels, going to get a small pack of pampers today to try tonight🤞 probably stick to Aldi for the day though xx

Avatar

Pampers all the way!! We used to use aldi when my boy was a newborn, which was great, having to change him every hour or he'll leak through!

Now he can go 12 hours with the premium protection papers size 5 with sleeping on his front 100% of the time! Tesco always have the best deals for them to save money

Avatar

We found aldis leaked at night so Pampers is the brand we use no leaks and we don’t change my boy 6.30-6.30 x

Avatar

Pampers harmony doing good for me too. Ordering in bulk to keep cost per one down

Avatar

We have tried several but only Huggest go on the top

Avatar

Pampers Pure has worked well for us

Avatar

She is adorable

Avatar

Pampers are the winner over night for us!

Avatar

pampers pull ups have been a life saver! we’ve had no leaks so far x

Avatar

thank you so much 🥰

Thank you everyone, going to try Pampers first tonight then go from there with different brands if they don't work. She's slept through from just before 4 months until 6 1/2 months when she was teething so was waking up multiple times and getting fed/changed in the night, then slept through from 2/3 weeks ago but we didn't have an issue until the last few days xxx

Avatar

Are you using actual overnight diapers? Sorry if I missed that in a comment somewhere.

Avatar

no we're not, I hadn't even thought to look for overnight ones until now as I've got needed to xx

Avatar

I would definitely try that! I believe most US diaper brands have overnights starting with size 3 so you should be able to find some! We use Honest brand but I don’t know if that’s only available in the US, but we’ve never had any leaks. And my son used to nurse overnight soooo often obviously he was probably wetting his diaper a fair amount. The only time we ever had problems would be the occasional user error with us not doing the tabs correctly.

Avatar

I'm in the UK so we don't have those ones but I'll definitely have a look at what's available for our brands! Xx

Avatar

We use Aldi for the day and a half sized up pampers at night. Try get them when they are on sale but the big packs last ages and find they last through the night even with a front sleeper

Ms Rachel ??

How many of you are putting ms Rachel on??? I’ve just introduced it to my 8 month old and it’s like sorcery. I feel so guilty putting it on because LO don’t take his eyes off the screen, but it’s the only way I’m getting 20/30 minutes during Velcro baby stage. I’ll put it on twice a day for up to 30 mins at a time, the rest of the time we’re out the house, playing with toys or he’s with me doing jobs around the house. Should I even feel guilty?😩

Leaky nappy advice

We use mamia nappies and have had no issue until now. We are using size 3 but she is leaking through them every night as she sleeps through the night. We’ve tried 4+ for night but they are still too big. Does anyone have any advice or any other brand that might hold more in a size 3?

Thoughts on this pram?

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and thinking of prams to get my baby. I saw this on Amazon and it seems affordable, plus the reviews are very positive about the quality of the product. Are there any mamas in the group that got this specific model? If so, how did you find it?

My daughter is two been tippy toeing ever since shes learned how to walk. Not sure if it’s a phase or if it’s autism. If it helps shes also a really active baby. Has anyone experienced this with their toddler?

TBH

To be honest- I’m starting to hate that my husband gets to sleep peacefully , getting virtually uninterrupted sleep, while I’m being woken up every other moment by our 5 month old 🙃 I’m so so tired, my body hurts, and I have a little cold that won’t go away. My baby sleeps next to me and feeds on demand (it’s my fault, I know). I tried to regulate him without the boob, tonight, and he started crying. My husband tried to soothe him for less than a minute, but I took him back when I saw my husband was getting irritated by him crying. I ended up feeding him until he was mostly asleep, now he’s sleeping on my chest. I’m awake, I have to use the bathroom, and forgot to take my contacts out, and put nursing pads in, but I’m stuck. Meanwhile, my husband went back to sleep immediately 😮‍💨😤 how do people do this long term? 😩
