Mine is bad for this as well 😭 she gets a really bad rash there as well because of it it’s so hard to keep on top of 🙈 my little girl is bottle fed and when she’s drinking she tips her head back enough so I can see part of the area so I just wipe at it best I can with her bib

There are other bibs that help not get to there neck for the milk and the way I wash my baby is using the palm and my hand facing upward like giving cpr to a baby holding position to the body running like warm water and the neck will open up and your able to put soap and splash water to clean out the neck

My daughter used to get awful neck cheese , I just did my best in the bath and also try to baby wipe that area a few times a day. Nothing else you can do really X

yeah we try our hardest in the bath but he fights us, he’s just so stinky 😭

Try to wipe it with a wet washcloth during tummy time if baby is lifting their head.

Second cleaning they are in tummy time (it's easier when they can hold their head up) with a water wipe or a bit of wet cotton wool. I did it frequently rather than deal with the build up!

After a bath I use a bit of sudocreme and put it round my daughters neck. It’s the best advise my midwife gave me x

My little man got the worst neck cheese as well 🤢 it was so cheesy and stinky 😅 we unfortunately just had to hold his back gently and clean it in the bath. I just wipe down with a face washer or my fingers and make sure I towel dry the best I can because you don’t want it moist. Then I pop some baby power or white clay powder on it and it’s all gone but the morning :)

do the best you can at the moment but when he’s a bit older (8/9 weeks) you’ll be able to lift his chin away from his neck and properly wash it. I do it now with my 12 week boy, sounds horrible but I just pull his neck skin down and lift his chin up, wash and rinse, and then when he’s out the bath I do the same again and blow on his neck until I know it’s dry, that prevents it. It doesn’t hurt him but obviously the older they are the less “fragile” they are x

I’d recommend liquid talc! I found this helped massively to stop the neck cheese and stops the risk of rashes. If he does tummy time definitely try to clean it then but if not I found waiting until my son was asleep because he slept with his head to the side and wipe as much as I can then! X
