Threatened miscarriage
I’m very conflicted and confused I just hit 12 weeks my baby is moving they have a heart beat they are very very active as I can feel them already . But I did have some light bleeding twice in 1 week . My cervix was closed . I went to the er . And they said I have a threatened miscarriage. I’m confused as they didn’t really explain what that was to me . Idk how long they last . Am I playing a waiting game for my baby to die? Or could my baby be okay ? I’m trying my hardest not to stress out to much but my anxiety is through the roof.

Anytime you bleed in early pregnancy and they don’t find a different cause that’s what they refer to it as. Chances are, baby will be just fine! Follow up with your OB to check on baby and with any questions you have. They should be able to ease your mind.
I had a threatened miscarriage too, at around 13 weeks. Bleeding and went to emergency. I’m 34 weeks and my baby is fine. 😚

Did they perform an ultrasound on you? I have some bleeding that started at 13 weeks 4 days and now I am 15 weeks. I have a subchorionic hemorrhage and the ER said the same thing with threatened miscarriage and gave me the whole “miscarriage” talk. Trying to give you some hope and support- I went to my OB three days after and they said the baby is perfectly healthy and to expect some bleeding for a while.
