Caffeine consumption risks

I am 21 weeks and read worrisome articles/research of risks of miscarriage, childhood obesity and cognitive implications in babies if caffeine is consumed even less than 150mg during g pregnancy. I am sick worried. I drink 1 cup of coffer every day. What are your thoughts?

As soon as I found out I was pregnant I switched to decaf and I noticed I was sleeping so much better. From week 24 however I started to have 1 coffee per day and all was absolutely fine. On average one cup of coffee is 95mg of caffeine so it should be fine. Congratulations đŸ„ł

With my second born I had one coffee a day and then decaf if I wanted more. With my third I had 2 coffees most days, my 2nd was only 4mnths when I found out i was pregnant and I was exhausted! Both boys are happy and healthy. Yes cut down on caffeine, but don't let the research scare you, there'll be other factors at play as well.

you will find scary articles for almost everything! no more than two cups a day and you should be fine x

1 cup of coffee should be fine i googled it and said to drink no more than 200mg whilst pregnant or breasfeeding of caffiene x

You could always have decaf i switched to decaf when pregnant i was addicted to coffee so found it super hard going cold turkey on it but did it. Drinking the decaf helped i think still felt like i was drinking it just from the taste. Whilst breasfeeding ive just been having 1 coffee a day you have tk think aswell things like chocolate contain caffeine too x

And i can imagine lots of chocolate is consumed in some pregnant women craving sweet stuff x

I always start my day with a coffee and I had no issue. You can’t do anything pregnant if you research enough🙈
