Hi Guys,
My 4 month old has had a cough/congestion since yesterday morning and it feels like he’s really struggling to take breaths. I’ve taken a video as not sure if I should get him checked out as worry it will just be nothing - our GP gets rather annoyed so I really don’t want to poke the bear. Any thoughts?

If you’re worried about his breathing don’t hesitate to get him checked out. Your GP should always be open to seeing your baby, and if they’re not, I’d be questioning that with the practice. Hope he’s feeling better soon xxxx

Hi lovely, please take him to get checked out - if you feel like your GP is getting annoyed by you taking your baby in, make a formal complaint. It’s your child’s health and life, absolutely dismiss how the doctor feels your child is a bigger priority!
He has some recession when breathing so is working hard to breathe.
I personally would pop him to A&E where they can check his sats - GP can’t do much.
