Laid off pregnant
There is likely going to be company wide layoffs announced at my company tomorrow morning. There’s a chance, not guaranteed, but there’s a chance that I’m impacted. I’m almost 12 weeks pregnant and was going to tell my company next week that I’m pregnant, so there’s no chance that they’re laying me off due to pregnancy.
Has anyone heard of the possibility of negotiating extended health care or severance due to pregnancy? Any tips? Thank you in advance.

It doesn’t hurt to try. Depending on where you live if they don’t work something out with you jump on state care right away, most of the time they will speed up help if you are pregnant
