Is it true? And what week should you start drinking it?

I started halfway thru pregnancy, not daily but every few nights then at 35 weeks was almost nightly and girl! My labor wasn’t super quick, but I gave birth two weeks early and I only pushed for an hour and 10 minutes. Do the damn tea.

I probably wouldn’t start before 35 weeks knowing what I know now:)

Dates with peanut butter as well. I think they soften your cervix

I started daily at 34 weeks and I feel like it definitely helped me progress quickly and help me have a successful induction

@Sarah what do you know now that would change when you would start taking it?

I started drinking it at 32 weeks then increased it at 35 weeks. I was induced. Labor and delivery took 18 hours, then 1.5 hours of pushing BUT I only bled for two or three days after birth 🤷🏻♀️ drink the tea

Thank you all :)

My OB said to only take it after 37 weeks because u don’t want to bring on early labour! I would double check with yours

So I started at 35 weeks and had my baby early at 37 weeks 😭
You should wait later on

It's impossible to know whether it'll make a difference for you but it's easy to do and probably doesn't hurt. So go for it!
I can't say it helped me at all.

Don't start before week 36, as the risk is baby not being fully developed, and then YES do drink the tea.. it will help? Who knows, we are all different, but give it a try... don't forget to move around a lot also x

I started at 32 weeks last time as that’s what the box suggested, personally I don’t think it did anything for me.. my labour was about 22 hours, including 3 hours pushing.

I was big on the raspberry tea and dates and I feel like they helped me (but I guess I’ll never know!). First baby, came 2 days before due date, 10 hour labour in total. Uterus had completely contracted back to normal by day 2/3. Can’t actually remember when I started but it was whatever the guidance says! I found drinking the tea as an ice tea with honey much more enjoyable x

They say u shouldn’t have it tell your in your 3rd trimester
