Nutramigen & Omeprazole - help pls

I’ve posted on this forum quite a few times now but I’m wondering if anyone at all has experienced similar.
My little one (11 weeks) was originally on Cow and Gate but it didn’t agree with him, neither did any other normal cows milk and our son had all symptoms of reflux - we’ve tried the Gaviscon and all of the first steps that I’m sure all of us know as reflux mums haha.
He’s been put on Nutramigen, we did a two week trial of Nutramigen, back on cow and gate for a trial that lasted only 5 days as he was so unsettled and then now back on Nutramigen which we have been given a months worth for with Omeprazole. We went back into Nutramigen 24/1 and had the babies Omeprazole adjusted to 2ML in line with his weight. Nutramigen only slightly seems to help but I would say more so on the digestion side and that’s it.
I’ve tried Carobel to thicken up the Nutramigen twice (only for one day) because he starts pooing absolutely loads of diarrhoea and has stomach issues when on it, I’m genuinely scared to try another thickener incase he does the same thing.
I’m not sure whether to just take the baby off Omeprazole and try 1 sachet of gaviscon in each bottle or even half a sachet.
I’ve changed him 4 times already today with how bad his spit up is, every feeding time is an absolute nightmare :/

Hmm it’s a tough one. My first reflux was defs allergy related so as soon as on right milk it stopped. This one is harder. Remember new milks can take 6w to get into the system. Also it still has milk in so may need completely milk free but doesn’t mean reflux will stop x
Also try magic mix as a thickner! My first was fine on carobel but this one defs isn’t
My little girls reflux was down to lactose intolerance she on sma lactose free milk now and her symptoms have improved massively
I took my baby off omeprazole and used gaviscon instead, she was previously on both. We found that omperazole made her reflux worse and she’s been much more settled since stopping it x

Yeah she was on 2.5ml and I just stopped it she just has one sachet of gaviscon now, she’s also on nutramigen x
I’m gonna see what he’s like on the 2 week trial of it but I’m worried it is making it worse… did they prescribe gaviscon when you asked? We had it prescribed once when he was on thicker milk and didn’t work well at all, when did you notice a difference? Xxx
