Elvie pump

Anyone else heard of the breast pump brand Elvie? I’m a mumma to be with my 1st bubba and looking for a good pump to use along side breastfeeding! Has anyone got any recommendations for electric pumps?

I had this pump and had nothing but issues with mine. Customer service were good at responding and sending parts. But they sent every spare part they could before finally sending a new unit but by this point I didn’t really need the pump anymore. The suction didn’t work properly even though I was taking care of it and assembling it correctly. If it works, it’s great. Quite quiet and you can go about your day wearing it. But when it doesn’t work it’s a nightmare. Luckily I wasn’t relying on it and only used it to get my daughter used to taking a bottle for her dad to feed her once in a while to give me a break.

Hi Fleur! I have heard good things about it. I personally have a Medela one and it has been great. My personal advice to you is to only get a pump if you really need it. I would not get one before breastfeeding is properly established and you are sure you are actually going to be able to do it. As it can be really expensive it’s worth waiting for a bit.

I had an awful time. Spent a fortune on the double pump and all it did was rip my nipples to shreds, caused my supply to drop and leaked everywhere. Save your money and get a momcozy pump xx

Don’t waste your money! Medela is much better xx

I had the elvie & never had a problem with it x

I read the reviews and alot of people said they had issues. I ended up getting Momcozy M5 (obviously after reading reviews etc) and I love it. I have even ended up pumping at work (which I never intended doing) as it is just so convenient and comfortable.

I have the Elvie and find it fab. Great to take to work and pop on, gets enough out of me that I feel empty
