Any high risk mommy’s out there?

Hii my name is Karla and i have a very high bmi of 35. I will be having my anatomy scan in a month and will be seeing a high risk doctor because of my weight. This has really made me anxious and i would like to know if other mommy’s are going (or went thru) the same thing and any tips/advice/anything to calm my nerves haha

My BMI was around that and I had no issues at all. I had additional scans due to previous losses (due to a medical condition with myself) but my weight was never mentioned ☺️ I am UK so may vary slightly but I still got a healthy baby at the end 🥰

My bmi is high due to my height and weight Im only 5’1 but im high risk due to having high blood pressure. I’ve done a nipt scan because I wanted to find out the gender but it keeps coming back inconclusive due to my weight so idk I just have to wait for a anatomy scan for the baby

I think my bmi was 31 at my initial ob appointment. Not a thing was said about my weight or it being an issue though. I am high risk for a few other reasons. This is my third baby so definitely not my first experience seeing an MFM specialist. Typically those appointments for me have been an ultrasound each visit and a brief meeting with the specialist to go over everything, making sure baby and I are fine. I wouldn’t be any more anxious about this appointment than any other one. You should be fine!
