Can coughing make your waters break?

I would wear a pad too then I would ring your triage team and get seen just to be on the safe side and I don’t know about coughing making your water break

no I was there yesterday they checked to see if my waters have gone they said they haven’t. As I’ve had this before with fluid leaking maybe it is just wee. I’m not sure xx

I have a terrible cough as well right now, so I know what you mean (it gets so bad that I throw up and literally cannot breathe 🫠) . Your bump hurting is normal, it's most likely muscles - I pulled one like that at the bottom of my bump. As for the liquid, I'd place a bet that it's wee (happens to me a lot when I cough, and sometimes I can't even feel it 🙈), but as said before, it's worth putting a pad in and then bringing that in to be tested at the triage if you're still worried. Better be sure, especially at that would help put your mind at ease x

If you’re losing fluid whilst coughing I’d say it’s wee 🫣 if you’re also losing fluid when seated or standing and not straining I’d suggest that it could be something else. Put a pad on and monitor when the fluid loss is occurring. It will helpful information if you decide to call for advice.

it’s still coming out it’s like water clear, not loads of it but every hour I check there’s more. And that’s with me just lying down. I’m not in no pain or anything though it’s very weird never had discharge like this x

instead of writing worrying yourself on here phone the hospital then update us all best of luck as for the fluid coming out I get regular wetness and it’s not wee just heavy discharge still better to be checked x

I had this when I was poorly with my son and it was wee even though it didn't smell but id still go into triage and get them to test your fluid to see if it's your waters it's like a COVID test for your vagina so it's really quick to get a result

Please go and get checked again. Make them redo the test to see if it is amniotic fluid xx
