Baby shaking head side to side
So my boy is 6.5 months old, he’s recently started shaking his head side to side like he’s saying no, I don’t think it’s actually saying no. I’m not sure it’s for comfort either as it’s not just when he’s tired. Could it be teething related? He’s just cut his first tooth through. Any one else baby doing this??

My little ones doing this! And I remember our friends little one doing it (although I'm sure he was a bit older) I think I read somewhere that they like the way it feels?
My girl is 7 months and has started to do this too, I think it’s fairly normal, just a phase until she figures out something else!
My boy does this when his teeth are hurting 😭
Mine did this when she was tired. We got worried and went to the doctors about it. Turns out it is just a soothing mechanism and nothing to worry about.
My little girl is doing this at 6.5 month also, Iv read that it can be to do with teething
Thank you so much all, he’s not done it as much today. I really think it might be a teething thing for him.
On a different note seeing as your babies are also doing this, have any of you noticed your little ones doing lots of hip thrusts lately? Like at nappy changes or when lay on the floor?! My boy literally keeps lifting his bum off the floor when he’s lay on his back, I’m thinking it’s prep to get moving. I can’t keep up at the moment every day something new! Xxx
Same mines 6 months and I think he’s been doing this for about a month now
yep mine does it all the time!! Sometimes it's impossible to change her nappy!!
