Baby bath

Hi gals, just wanted to know what baby baths yous are using for your 3/4 month olds? I have the Nuby newborn bath, literally not realising it’s a newborn one and he’s completely grown out of it of course 😂 I like the nuby sit up one but doesn’t look as if there’s a lot of leg room?

I just got the £7.99 baby bath from Home Bargains to be honest. I got a £20 baby bath for my first born & it only lasted for about 6months, by which she was quite cramped in it.

The one I got for my new baby is much better! Cheap & cheerful😅

I have the angel care one but my little girl has really long legs and can now reach the bottom of the bath and has started to try and push herself upwards off the bath with her feet. I was told to not put her in a sit up one until she can sit up independently but I'm a bit stuck on what to do as it's making bath time rather difficult but entertaining for her as she thinks it's hilarious 😂

I've got the Shnuggle bath as recommended by a friend. My boy is only 3 months so fits perfect in it. We've also got the OKBaby Onda from Amazon for when he gets bigger because we don't have a bath in our house. This bath is a lot bigger then the Shnuggle. Hope that's useful x

Following! I was wondering if anyone has tried a baby dam? https://babydam.com/product/babydam-bathwater-barrier/

I’m using the Stokke bath but my 3 month old has already outgrown it! He loves bath time and kicks so hard I’m worried one day he’s going to make the bath fall from the stand haha

The basic baby baths are brill

I have the angel care bath seat, my boy loves to kick his feet in the water. Also useful to sit him in if he has to come with me so that I can go to the toilet 😂

yeah it is!

I’m still using it for my four month old 😬

wow I literally hate it 😭😭 never liked it but now his feet don’t feet in at all, he kicks the sides with the back of his foot and it looks painful. Does your LO fit all ok?

Avatar

oh man I’ve loved the Nuby bath! After my labour there was no way I could have bathed her in our big bath and it saved my back. She still fits fine but she’s always very mellow in the bath, just sort of sits and chills.

Avatar

I’m so super jealous lmao I feel like I’m doing something wrong with it honestly

thanks for this, was debating on the angel bath as it looks ideal but wasn’t sure on others opinions

this is only a recent development. The first two months of bathing her she literally sat there and screamed. Didn’t move, didn’t kick, didn’t actually cry. Just screamed. It’s only recently she’s decided we aren’t actually trying to torture her 😂😂😂

We have a shnuggle one which used for previous babies. Brilliant as supports them so gives you more free hands. My girls fitted in it until they then got a seat in Bath which they could sit up in.

Recently started lying her in the main bath with shallow water! She loves it...we've got the angel support which she goes on when we wash her hair but she's barely in the water on that.

Ikea bathtub for baby, we are still using it now for my 2.5 years old! I don’t think you need anything fancy, as soon as they can sit, in 2-3 months It will be easier to bath them alone!

Avatar

I have the Nuby one too and my son has always hated it for some reason. He kicks his legs up. I bath with him because he hates the having a bath otherwise 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Avatar

I bath with my LO too! Same issues as you, legs are always up and he kicks the sides. I love bathing with him but when I’m home alone with him it’s hard to

Same as !! 🤣🤣 xx

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Any experience with different teats?

Hey Mamas

So my little girl is exclusively breastfed but she wont even take FRESHLY PUMP milk from the bottle. I had a whole 4oz that was going to waste and baby girl was just massanging her gums and smiling lol :/
Ive tried adding extra holes with a needle, the ol' switcheroo (BF first then switch ti bottle) but she's very keen and notices straight away.
Im currently using Nuby and Tommee silicone bottles, and I would like to try more softer, boob-like teats.

Id ideally like her to take a bottle so Dad can give me a REAL break yknow.

Has anyone had this same experience? Any teats one would recommend?
Thank you in advance!
