Really itchy hand/fingers

My midwife actually said itchy hands are a symptom to report to them! Not sure why but maybe worth getting in touch!

Hand or feet itchiness can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia (or of nothing at all of course). They should have gave you a list of symptoms to report asap to your antenatal department like on your first appointment... Report this..hope its nothing and just you swelling and your skin needing tons of moisturiser

It can be a sign of cholestatis. The sign is itchy hands and feet. However, I had really really really bad itchy hands and feet for a week or so. All bloods came back fine and it stopped. But it is something that needs to be checked.

My midwife told me to report itchy palms so may be worth getting in touch and just checking! x

Like everyone else has said, report it to your midwife. However, it could also easily be a byproduct of the typical swelling that comes in hands and feet around this stage. Or even from dehydration (dry skin) which is common in pregnancy too.

Yesterday my palms of hands were like burning hot all day not itchy though

Speak to your midwife. It may be nothing but worth getting checked out for all the reasons given above x

Honestly I’m going to have to ring the PAU at the hospital because for the past 2 days I’ve been having really itchy hands/fingers to the point I’ve got these little spots all over & red rash from itching that much but I can’t stop
