How good would it be if you could split your maternity leave πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Just thinking about scenarios that are impossible as per, but anyone else feel like this? Id love to go back now after 6 months & have the remainder when he turns 1 when hes likely walking & interested in stuff. Right now, i feel bad saying this, but im a bit bored 🫣 not of him, but every day feels the same & with the weather being so awful its hard to get out & about. Hes too young for play centres, baby groups cringe me out, he couldnt care less about anything weve took him to so far πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Completely agree about splitting the leave. My boy will be going to nursery soon and I keep thinking of all the firsts I am going to miss out on because I'm at work while he is there.

Have you tried swimming with LO? My boy loves it now he has twigged we are not in a giant bath. Baby groups can be fun even if they are a bit cringey, and let's face it until LO is interactive its probably more for mum to get out the house and see other mums than for the LO.

I said this exact same thing to my wife yesterday - I almost wish I could take it again later on when ages older and can do more 😩
