Combi feeding
Has anyone had experience with combi feeding? We’ve recently just started with our 4 month old due to my milk supply dropping for whatever reason. We started with aptamil and he was fine with it to start with, only using it as his before bed bottle in the evening. Since it was going so well i started to replace his morning feed with it too. Today he has just screamed at the bottle of formula until i’ve given him a boob or a breastmilk bottle. imo it smells awful and smells so different to my milk, but i don’t understand he was fine with it to start with!

Sorry I don’t have any advice really but I noticed this too that formula milk smells horrible. I thought it was off.
I’ve heard of people putting vanilla essence in their formula milk to make it sweet like breastmilk
It does smell awful!
Hello, we would like to continue using formula as i’ve tried pumping bottles for my husband to use but i barely get a couple of ounces now. We’d like to start weaning him off the breast at around 6 months anyway so we thought now would be a good time to introduce formula. He’s been fine with it for a week, and now just borks at the taste of it 🤦🏻♀️
I’ve heard that Kendamil is closer to the taste of breast milk but I’ve never tried it myself to verify! 😂
I’ve also heard that, and apparently babies are more comfortable drinking it?!
i’ll have to get a small bottle of it ready made or something to give it a try.
