My son has the little bumps on his face has anyone experienced something similar or the same or can tell me what they are?

Yes, it could be a heat rash. My daughter used to get them when she was under 6 months. Use calamine lotion with cotton balls, let it dry and wash it off after a couple of hours in the bath xx
I used rash cream on my baby and it went away.
