Book recs for buddy reading
I’m trying to find books that I can buddy read, but I’m having trouble. My friend likes to read dark romance and paranormal romance (she really likes why choose) , she prefers spicy reads. Usually I can find things I don’t mind reading that she likes.
The problem I’ve been running into is finding books without the age gap troupe (like 21 and 40) or pregnancy troupe. She’s picked several books that when I check reviews they end up having one of the two.
I typically get recs from tik tok but all I’m seeing now are sponsored posts of books that are below 3 stars average on good reads and/or include those troupes.
If you have a good book that’s not dark or paranormal but is still romance please recommend them!

I enjoyed the Four Horseman series. Why choose, no age gap.
Have you heard of Verity by Colleen Hoover. I think it is a good mix of both
