Dog pee?
I have a 2 week old baby boy. Ever since we took our baby home, our 1.5 year old dog started peeing in our apartment. We try our best to give the dog attention and include him in everything related to the baby (family activities, sleeps in bed with us, walks, etc).
Our dog seems to love the baby (and loves kids in general). I wonder why he is peeing in our apartment.
Anyone else experiencing this?

So that could be behavioral or it could be a uti. If it’s a uti we need to go to the vet to get checked and prescribed antibiotics. If it’s behavioral then it’s just going to take time for doggo to adjust. 2 weeks is nothing when they’ve had you to themselves for the past 1.5 years. Has anything else changed ? Food intake, treats, water intake, energy levels etc ?
My mums dog does this whenever we are around but that’s because he hates my baby, she’s big enough to mess with him. All I can think is maybe marking it’s territory since some ‘thing’ new is in the house
Our dogs started acting out after our forts was born. They would and still take our clothes any chance they ace they get and destroy them or have a laundry party as we call it and we call it and take all the laundry off the couch and play in it and chew it up.
Needless to say they had to stay outside when we would leave and now they are outside dogs when the weather is nice.
We also tried to keep life normal for them but the wouldn’t stop acting out.
