Flying with Ryan Air - car seat

Wondering if someone can share experiences of this? I'm trying to work out whether to take a carseat with me or rent one with the car (in France).
On the Ryan air website it says you can take one for free but I think that may be if you have a chair for the baby and put them on the car seat?
It also says you can take a pushchair for free and yet when you're booking it says £15 each way. Is this to do with whether you have it as carry on?

Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated!! Thanks

As long as I know (I've never travellrd with them and baby, I'll do next monday for the first time tho) you can bring two pieces for free ( carseat + stroller)

Thanks . I was worried you could only take the car seat if you planned to use it on the flight. Hope you have a good trip!
