Kicked in the stomach

I’m 24 weeks today and whilst laying in bed this morning and my very rambunctious Bengal came for a cuddle. However, upon hearing his daddy downstairs he promptly jumped off the bed, using my stomach as a launching pad.

Should be worried? He’s about 5kg of pure muscle so there’s some good power behind those legs but it didn’t really hurt.

Photo to show the little devil with his naughty hind legs 🐆

Baby is very well cushioned in there so I wouldn’t be concerned. My toddler climbs all over me, kicking me or elbowing me in the stomach! x

My cat does this all the time and it freaks me out so that I no longer let her sit on me in bed 😭 she managed to do a fair few times before though and everything was all good with baby at 20 week scan recently so I wouldn't worry about it

I wouldn't worry about it unless you physically feels sick or got injury that is visible after it. My cats do that that all the time and my dogs ( one of them is 30kg) like to jump on me when we come home. Never really got hurt from them.

My 12.2kg baby kicks me in the stomach most nappy changes (unintentionally of course) and have 5 cats so can empathise. Babe is fine well protected don’t worry x

Thanks ladies 🩷 I sort of assumed it would be okay but on the other hand I worry about everything!
