Has anyone or is anyone dating a man with a child same age as yours?

I started dating this guy he is freshly divorced with a 6 year old( same as my son). The man is wealthy so there is a big gap between us money wise. His son goes to private school etc where is I am on benefits , single mom struggling. I guess the question is how would this work going forward if we were to move in etc, I think I’ll feel a bit inferior to him and my son would feel disadvantaged to his son? Would love to hear some opinions…

If you really want to be with this man then free your mind of anything. Let love take control and not the mind. Love his son and make sure you love both kids equally. The way you will treat him and his son, he will treat you same. Children get along easily so no need to panic.

I agree with above. And if and when the time comes, this is something you should discuss with the man you are dating.

The reality is, if he wasn’t interested you wouldn’t be asking this question. He just knows your circumstances as you clearly know his and I assume you two are still dating? Let things flow naturally, don’t put too much pressure on yourself or him as he’s freshly divorced.
You never know he might be the reason things turn around for you financially (as in he motivates you) !

If he can’t accept you at your worst, then he doesn’t deserve you at your best. And that’s the key here: acceptance.
He may love you, loving someone is actually easier to do but accepting someone takes longer to develop and that’s if it develops at all. Can he accept your life circumstances, the things you’ve been through, what your life experiences are like now?

When you put love and acceptance together, you have what is called; unconditional love. However, Love without acceptance would be conditional love which is; loving some parts of you but not loving other parts of you.

I will be honest with you…it sounds like you don’t accept yourself and the life you live, which is contributing to your anxiety about whether or not your partner will accept you.

Hence why true happiness can only come from within. When you learn to be happy with yourself and do whatever it takes to get you the life that you want, you will have no reason to doubt 🙌🏽🌺.
